Welcome to Cafe Ceramico!


Cafe Ceramico is a family run, family oriented pottery painting and soft play area in East KIbride. 

We have over 400 different pottery shapes for you to choose from to decorate your own unique piece.

Ideal for family outings, special treats, somewhere to find and make a special present for a loved one, or just dropping in for a great cup of coffee.  We also run great birthday parties and cater for groups such as brownies, after school, special needs etc.

How Does It Work?

Unless we are extremely busy then you will be greeted almost immediately by one
of our friendly staff who will explain exactly what to do but basically you come in and choose something from our huge range of ceramic objects. When you have chosen our staff will ask about what kind of paint you would like to use - we have a choice of acrylic or underglaze paint which you can use depending upon you preference.  The acrylic painted pieces are taken away on the day while the underglaze pieces have to be left to be glazed and fired in the kiln.  Once you have decided on the paint our staff will set you up with all the things you need and explain the use of the paint.  From then on its up to you to create that masterpiece lthough we are always on hand to offer advice should you need it. 

How Much Does It Cost?

Prices for painting start from £6.00 which includes everything that you need to finish the piece.  Unlike some places, we do not charge a studio fee, an entry fee or charge you extra for every colour you use.

The soft play is free to use and has been enjoyed by children aged from a few months up to a group of teachers who came in for an end of term evening all of who were aged well over 8 years old!

Do I Need To Book?

Unless it is for a birthday party then we don't take bookings although if you are intending turning up with more than half a dozen it is nice for us to know in advance.

What Are Our Opening Hours?

We are open from 10.30am to 5pm every day of the week.  There is no need to book - just turn up when you fancy a painting session
